Hello guys, i have a problem with my new graphics card (6800xt FE ) with games that use directx11 i have low wattage (100W) and low frenquency (maximun 1500 mhz). I have my drivers up to date, a new fresh W11 instalation. All of the metrics are recorded through msi afterburner. On dx12 and vulkan it's better but i have some fps drops to. I have made a spreadsheet with the results : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tySpBFQ8dz3jQQ-az9akNP3i-vHUw_i3Wn0xnps1lY8/edit?usp=sharing. I was thinking of RMA the card, that's what AMD support told me. Maybe you'll have an idea !
here are my specs : https://userdiag.com/id/sixil8XiHG
this problem is for all people with top-end video cards, directx 11 is single-threaded and cannot work in a multi-stream like the same directx 12 or vulcan, namely, the more complex the scene in the game on directx 11, the less the load on the video card will be (the bottleneck will be directx 11 itself, and if the scene is simple with a minimum of polygons, then directx 11, load the video card to full, even better than directx 12, and in those cases where a very complex scene (frame in the game) will drag directx 12 and vulcan. Therefore, ubisoft switched to directx 12 in the latest assassin Valhalla. Here I wrote about it and a photo https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/6900xt-not-100-use-at-all-games-just-using-70/m-p/492632#M7995...
thanks i understand more now ! i still get fps drops on directx12 and directx11 and vulkan (depending on the game) with a 60fps frame limiter. it happens even on very low demanding game like LOL for example. Do you have any ideas ?
Maybe it's because of windows 11, maybe on windows 10 you will have better results, you need to watch the aida64 cache and memory stress test. what is the memory delay on the L3 cache. The idea seems to have fixed this microsoft jamb in windows 11 updates, but you need to run a test to know for sure. I have windows 10, so there are no problems with this. Here I did a test as you have a photo of the bios of the video card in quiet mode (gpu frequency 2200 mhz maximum) before that there was a performance mode and it was fast up to 2500 mhz. In fact, the map is already fast, so I set the Silent mode). The test is in Silent mode.) It may be that your percentage is less weak, although with an emphasis on the video card, it doesn't matter which processor

Sorry that there's not much that will be clear to you, I'm from the Russian Federation) (frame rate at least 99, average 136 and maximum 192), and windows 10, I don't see the point in switching to 11 since it's raw and works more or less well only with intel processors of the 12th generation, and I have the 9th generation, I also think you will have better results if you return to windows 10, there are no problems with amd processors, despite the fact that they sort of fixed this problem related to the L3 cache of ryzen processors, although tests say otherwise that the problem still remains= (
