Hey Red Team,
I hope everyone had a fantastic Canada Day or Fourth Of July Long Weekend (or as we call it, Canada Day +3 🤣 )
Did you get up to anything fun or exciting? Why not share it below?
Myself, and my family and I took a trip up to the true Pacific NorthWest of Canada to explore some incredible old-growth forests, check out some super-surfing beaches, play around in the tide pools and visit some remote coastal towns. It was a great long weekend expedition.
What did you get up to?
The last time we went into Canada it was maybe 15 years ago to visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Someday we hope to take the train across Canada, ending up in British Columbia to visit Victoria where I have relatives. My dad was a Canadian, and he served during WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a radar operator in Burma.
We spent our time on the 4th of July watching fireworks being lit off near the Washington Monument in Washington DC. That was after a delicious steak dinner and a bottle of wine.
It was a blast (pun intended!). My wife was born on the 4th of July, so we celebrated her and Independence Day at Zilker Part here in Austin! My son was in awe for the entire duration of the fireworks show!
