As an added bonus before the holiday, here is a simple script for converting Redshift materials, lights, etc to RPR. You obviously need redshift and maya, as well as the Radeon ProRender plugin.
Simply Load this .mel file into the mel editor in Maya and run.
It should try and convert lights and materials, obviously not everything can be converter, but please post your results and issues in the comments below.
