System randomly turns off - turns off instantly if i use the third DP port on my 5700 XT

So i Have a RX 5700 xt. Ever since ive been having issues with my PC. Every week or so the computer would become unstable. MY pc would out of nowhere turn off. 

 

Why i think its my GPU is because apprently if i plug a Dp cable in my 3rd slot on my gpu it would instantly turn off.

 

Is their anything i can do?

 

Ive had this gpu for less than a year.

@OPGameTime hey there. Sorry to hear that you are having to deal with those issues.

Please go ahead and download GPU-Z.
Then run it and look for the "?" (question mark) symbol (far right side of the app) click on it.
A new window will open with a button "Start Render Test" - click on it.
-> now take a screenshot from GPU-Z's "Graphics Card"-Tab with all the GPU info in it

Now switch to Sensors Tab and leave it open for at least 1 minute (while the Render test is still active).
-> And then please take a Screenshot from the Sensors Tab and post both screenshots here.

These 2 Screenshots might already show some useful insights to solve your problem.

Other than that, some general info:
Radeon Software is overclocking your RX 5000 series card by default.
Most RX 5700 XT cards can handle around 1900 MHz boost clock at 1050-1100 mV.
But when left to "automatic" Radeon Software will try to boost to 2100 MHz and 1200 mV.

This will lead to more power consumption, therefor more heat and more fan noise.
And since this is all silicon lottery, your card might crash with these settings.

It is recommended to look up your manufacturers max rated boost clocks.
Then switch Radeon Software to "manual performance tuning" and enable the "fine tuning".
You will see power states P1, P2 and P3 and need to enter your max rated boost clock there.

Most likely power state P3 should be around 1900 MHz and max 1100 mV.

And how to you usually install new drivers? (explain in detail: each step!)

especialy with the new driver

my xfx 5700 xt thicc 3  (8gb) runing fine @ gpu: 2092mhz-1160mV- +40% W - vram:1808mhz
the last weeks.... until the new driver:  random crashes at Valorant (game just closes) or
just watching 2K Videos (radeon software crash)....
temp was low (68-73°C).... gpu/vram most time runs far away from max usage & boost limit!
but in the end reduce the boost limit to 2070mhz and 1798mhz, reduce the crashes to 1 in 5 hours
at Valorant.

doesn't matter if i play at win 11 or win 10. since this driver and upgrade to the new chipset driver
also Win10 pro runs with a noticeable loss of performance. install last chipset driver don't change
anything.

it is next to "PCIe x 16 4.0 @ x 16 4.0" and right below "UEFI"

All the info on your screenshot is looking good so far.
You are using driver 21.6.2 - think about upgrading to at least 21.9.1 or newer.

@OPGameTime everything looks just fine - your GPU seems to be working as it should.

Have a look into Windows Reliability Monitor to see what kind of errors your are getting.
You could also start monitoring your GPU's hot spot temp and see if it stays below 90°C (194°F).

@crystalyser  Quick google search is telling me that 145°F is 62,7778°C.

Power draw in the same image is 62W so GPU is more or less idling.
Which means that the 62°C temp is alright for that situation.

sry last time i really used °F was before 12 years in school 

i googled a 32° difference 

at the calculater is a preset
32°F = 0°C .... thats  the the one value wich is impossible to convert because the formula  is °C = (°F -32)*5/9
In my mind  i converted  the value like °C to°K because 1°C difference is 1°K difference

i dont understand w already get used in US

Radeon 21.10.2/3 are the last god one i know  and Chipset drv before the version "msi.com=3.10.22.706/amd.com=3.10.22.506"
was running much better! But it's up to wich mainboard you got! At some people's MB's the Chipset drv befor the .506 had trouble with their usb ports. the july/august version cause a crash while firmware update of my mouse wifi-usb-dongle...
the dongle died @ this day

here is yet another post from this community where the display cable was the issue

Seems like the wrong cable can cause screen flickering, driver crashes and system freezes.
So if you happen to have another HDMI and/or display port cable, try to use another one.

Maybe even go buy a new one with correct standard for RX 5000 series cards:
- display port 1.4
- HDMI 2.0b

There have been more posts with these issues than you would think.
And it is quite shocking to see that the cable can cause driver crashes...

What is the Make & Model of your PSU in your PC?

Sometimes adding extra displays causes the PSU to overload and shut down do to being under-powered.

what is  the latest error message/code from the win event display?!?!?
how often you  plug and unpluged dp cables at this port?
dirt?.. a metal splice... ? damaged lane on any side of  cable/port?
crash, also when th DP cable is not connected to any thing?
more informations plz about the setting.. history round about ths place there you choose....
