Hi,

It seems that the graphics driver is incompatible with the direct mode of steamVR.
This causes a huge horizontal refresh issue.
Windows 10 takes over and sees my VR headset as an additional screen.
It is impossible to adjust the frequency of my VR headset.
To get things back to normal, the graphics driver would need to prioritize the SteamVR app in order to use direct mode.
Is there a solution to this problem?

Hello,

I was able to solve the problem, using the AMD cleanup tool and reinstalling the graphics drivers.
I reconnected the VR headset after reinstalling the drivers. Then I restarted SteamVR and it took over the display just fine.
