Direct3D/OpenGL random color hang

Whenever I play a game for an extended period of time that uses OpenGL or Direct3D then my computer will random color hang. I have a pretty old computer with an old bios but just so you know, the PSU can handle dual cores and 2 of my gpus. I have an rx 480 using MSI afterburner to increase the power limit and have a custom fan profile (I don't declare this as overclocking). I have the latest drivers and when it crashes, it sound skips really quickly possibly because the audio driver is also handled by the GPU. If you need more info, ask me. To clarify, random color hangs mean that the screen turns into a random color and system hangs.
