Hi everyone
I was hoping for some help. I recently installed a new Mobo and CPU and when I downloaded the AMD Software: Adrenaline Version it literally seems to cut power (all it appears to do that) to my GPU. 

I can see on the GPU the logo goes on, then off. Every time I get into the AMD software I can see that the GPU usage % is 0, then 99 then 0 then 99. 

If I play a game, i literally can't even move the mouse it is so laggy in the menu of the game with our without the software. 

If I uninstall the software the power remains constant (I can see the logo light up and it stays on) but same issues with the game.

If you have had this experience please let me know how you solved it?

Was a fresh install of the OS done when the board and cpu were replaced?  Can you list all main pc components as well as power supply  it could help us solve your issue?

I think i found a fix.
go to windows settings
go to system
go to display
scroll down and go to graphics
and click on change default graphics settings
make sure it's set to your gpu and not your on board graphics, you can also manually change this for each game but changing the default is easier.
