HP Touchsmart 10-e011sa AMD/Radeon 8180 display driver

7 years ago I purchased an HP Touchsmart 10" notebook. The device is 10-e011sa and it uses a Radeon graphics HD8180 driver for the display. Every time the display driver updates to the HP/Radeon approved driver for the display the performance become terrible. Reverting to the Microsoft display driver from 2006 resolves the problem with one failing. The 2006 Microsoft driver will not support an external display. With the 'correct' driver, although performance is unbelievably slow, the external display is enabled. The notebook now has an SSD in place and without the dreadful Radeon driver has acceptable performance, especially for a 7 year old PC, and is good for travelling overseas. How can I achieve the 2006 driver performance and enable an external display? Website

By using the original HP AMD Graphics driver. But I see that when i went to your laptop HP Download page they have a AMD Driver for Windows 8.1 and not Windows 10: https://support.hp.com/ie-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-10-touchsmart-10-e000-notebook-pc-serie...

I noticed that in Windows 8.1 you have 2 BIOS updates. The last one from 2017 - F.0B Rev A (03/20/2017) while under Windows 10 you have one BIOS update from 2016 - F.0A (07/25/2016)

Also noticed that your laptop has a AMD APU Processor A4-1200 with HD8180 Integrated Graphics. You must download from AMD the APU Processor driver which will install all AMD GPU drivers for your laptop from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-series-processors/amd-a4-series-apu-for-laptops/a4-1200-radeo...
