can't activate freesync in amd software as it says its not supported?

I have the msi g274qpx and its g-sync compatible but I read that now monitors can support both but when I go on the amd software to turn on freesync it says its not supported. I can turn adaptive sync on my monitor setting when I click this button on the back but when I turn it on amd free sync option says adaptive sync enabled. How do I put on freesync?

You have enabled freesync,
freesync is not a static thing, instead it has three tiers, depending on your monitor:
Freesync (also reffered as adaptive sync) is the most basic anti-flicker
Freesync Premium is anti-flicker plus VRR (works well on low fps)
Freesync Premium Pro is anti-flicker, VRR, and can enable hdr at the same time

G-sync is used on monitors as marketing, if it says "compatible" then it means that this monitor has some freesync functionality. I had a look through your monitor user guide and as far as i can see only adaptive sync is supported.

oh ok and also how low is the low fps for premium? so with my standard free sync would I experience screen flicker and tearing at fps that for example 50? and I wouldn't if I had premium?
