Can RX5500M work on 2560x1440p 144hz?

Hey! I have MSI Bravo with discrete AMD Radeon RX5500M. The laptop monitor is working on FullHD 144hz on the integrated videocard (amd radeon graphics). Just bought 1440p 260hz asus tuf gaming vg27aqml1a and it`s connected to the RX5500M. It can work on FullHD, 120hz but only 60hz on 1440p. Using HDMI 2.0 cable and it`s fine because I connected this monitor to the old dell laptop and it was working 1440p, 144hz without any settings, drivers etc. just connect and use. I turned off vsync, freesync and etc I was able to turn off in the AMD radeon software, but it didn`t help. Also installed the driver for the monitor so I can see its name in the device manager, updated videocard drivers also but still struggling. Tried to make custom resolution in AMD radeon software but it`s not letting me to create. 

So, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Found MSI Bravo Laptop that has various AMD APU processors but all with RX5500M GPU card. They all have the same Video HDMI port specs: https://us.msi.com/Laptop/Bravo-15-A4DX/Specification

Are you connecting the Monitor using the HDMI or USB-C port?

If your laptop USB-C support DP Alt Mode then you might be able to get video with a higher Monitor frequency output.

Seems like the RX5500M supports DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b.

I have MSI Bravo 17 A4DDK. The CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz. I`m using HDMI-HDMI cable and it`s working fine on my 2nd laptop with some Intel Iris GPU. I have also USB-C on my laptop but don`t have a DP. 

I would ask MSI Support if your laptop USB-C supports DP output. If it does you can try connecting your 144hz monitor on that port with the appropriate cable adapter if Monitor doesn't have a USB-C input port.

also ask if your laptop's HDMI supports 144Hz monitors @ 2k.

Remember your laptop has 2 GPUs on it. The 4800H IGPU and the 5500M GPU card. So possibly your USB-C might output DP from either one of those GPUs. But need to ask MSI is best advice.
