FPS problem

Hi there. This is my first topic and my english isnt really good, please forgive me.

So my problem is that I have big fps drops in an old game Call of Duty 2. Im playing it regularly so I hope that someone can help me.
Most of the times I have 250 fix fps but when more than 3 people appears on my screen my fps drops down dramatically to like 150 and its a pretty big problem and annoying. I tried to re-install the game but didnt help. My older R9 380X had 0 problems.
Current config:
Red Devil 6600XT 8Gb
R5 5600X
Patriot 2x8Gb 3000 Mhz
Asus TUF B450 Elite
CM 650W Gold

Thanks for the answers!

Latest windows update broke gaming performances... wait/check for next update to fix it or revert last one.

Unfortunetly this is a long-standing problem. I bought the card 5-6 months ago. Im using Win 10 since release.

How fast is your monitor? I'm not a competitive esport player, for me, 60 FPS is enough but Rx6600xt should handle your trageted FPS @1080p... maybe lower few settings?

Last windows update broke much more than just gaming.

Let me put the meme back to good use.

@vsNN Have you tried DDU?

Not yet. I could've done that already but thought some new drivers will fix the problem. But I dont trust in DDU either. I've done literally everything except DDU. Thanks anyways.

Oh no, my computer is having a major FPS problem and I can't seem to fix it! This is so frustrating and I'm starting to get really worried.
