Unable to locate 'configure switchable graphics' after attempted update

My OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Laptop type: HP Pavilion dv6

Specs:

-6GB ram

-Intel HD graphics family

-Radeon HD 6490M

Processor:

Intel i5-2410M Dual core

(2.30Ghz)

>Not everyone has money to buy newer stable computers.

I unfortunately cannot find the switchable graphics option on my desktop upon right clicking, I tried to get Crimson 16.2.1 and Catalyst 15.7.1 but doing that changes my GPU from 6490M to 7400M and forces my laptop to have low resolution 1024x720 and it also bumps my brightness to full which I cannot control, I decided to roll back my driver but I still can't find my switchable graphics! (Also says the graphics driver is not installed}AMD)

I spent about 2 days searching another related article but, I'm not much of a hardware person my self...

Any explanation to this would be delightful!

thanks.Screenshot_1.pngScreenshot_2.png

Laptop graphics update...How to

For laptops with Intel/AMD graphics:

2. The Intel graphics drivers should be the latest offered by Intel Support.

Use their 'Driver Download Tool' to get the latest version. These must be installed before the AMD drivers.

** Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 must be fully updated before attempting to install any AMD driver. All 'critical', 'recommended', and 'optional' (no language packs, etc) updates as well as any Service Packs (SP) must be installed before any attempt to install graphics drivers. If you do not get this message .... keep installing until you do:
