rx6600xt driver update black screen

hey i bought an rx6600xt installed it today played for a short time then i clicked on updates and security for updates then downloaded the new gpu driver then i had a black screen the gpu was loud for a moment the pc has restarted and since I don't have a picture anymore what should I do? I don't even get the boot sign or bios or anything with the old gpu when starting, but everything is still working...

I've only seen one review where crash to desktop problems were encountered and mentioned (shockingly in one of the more positive reviews for the card). It ended up choking on Valorant on a pcie4.0 test bench. The same card was moved to other 4.0 test benches with similarly clean windows installations and they didn't encounter issues. They didn't have an issue with the 5600X. It's not a universal thing. They didn't mention crashing on pcie 3.0 testing but they did comment on the significant performance penalty.
