One of the bullets under "Fixed issues" states: 

• Improvements to intermittent driver timeout or application crash while playing HELLDIVERS™ 2.

I understand that it states "improvements" so I guess the issue is not fully resolved. However, I would like to know when AMD thinks they can resolve this issue.

I tried to play the game after clean installing the new drivers and had a driver crash within 10 seconds of loading in a game.

My build:

7900 XTX

R9 7950X3D

ASUS X670E-plus gaming wifi

64GB DDR5 G.Skill F5-6000J3238G32G

Windows, drivers and BIOS are all uptodate ofcourse

try disabling or lowering some of the graphics options like global illumination to see if that would help, some reports from reddit say that crossplay can cause crashes, so might be a game problem.

Lowering graphics settings is indeed a temporary fix.

I have not tried messing with cross play setting, might try that next. If I figure out anything more I will update here.
