Issues upgrading AMD PSP 3.0 Device drivers past v. 4.4.0.0

Greetings,

as the title says I'm having problems upgrading the AMD PSP Device drivers past the windows stock version 4.4.0.0 from 2017:

On device manager the version gets upgraded correctly but under general i have this message "No drivers are installed for this device" and event viewer clearly show there's something wrong:

Device PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_1456&SUBSYS_87471043&REV_00\4&2392abc8&0&0239 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem14.inf

Class Guid: {d94ee5d8-d189-4994-83d2-f68d7d41b0e6}

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

I tried a fresh install on both Windows 10/11 and also tried to install every driver from 5.17.0.0 to 5.26.0.0 without success, both from windows update and AMD installer, they just fail. Every other driver and bios is updated.

I noticed this is also a critical update so I guess it's something important to have updated and that's why I'm trying so hard to solve this but the issue is driving me insane.

my build:

AMD Ryzen 2700x

Asus Prime X470-PRO

Sapphire 6700xt

2*8 GB RAM G-Skill

Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120gb

Corsair rm750x

I have the exact same issue on my PC, Ryzen 5 1600AF + B450 Aorus M, which is also with a 2nd Gen (Zen+) CPU like your 2700X. However, in my case, I had driver version 5.24.0.0 installed and couldn't update to 5.26.0.0, because update always failed. 5.26.0.0 is included with AMD Chipset drivers 6.01.25.342, and only after uninstalling 5.24.0.0, I found out on release notes that there was a known issue where installation of AMD PSP driver could fail on Ryzen 2000 processors, which is exactly what happened.

So I made the mistake of uninstalling version 5.24.0.0, and now I can't update past 4.11.0.0, which is a very outdated stock driver from november 2019. Also, the device name changed from "AMD PSP 2.0 Device" to "AMD PSP 3.0 Device". I mean, I can update occasionally, but driver will be corrupted and won't be loaded like yu described. I tried updating to 5.24.0.0 again, but it won't update anymore.

I tried installing several versions, like 5.25.0.0 that came with chipset drivers provided by my motherboard manufacturer, but no luck, it's permanently stuck on 4.11.0.0.
