Issue with graphic cards HP Pavilion 15 (AMD A10-8700)

Hi everyone!

First of all, thank you all for your time.

I have a big issue with my laptop HP Pavilion 15-ab181la. I did a upgrade of windows version, from windows 2018 to Windows Home Single Leanguage version 21H1 OS 19043.928

When I try to install drivers for the graphics cards I got a different BSOD, some of them tell a code error:

SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION,

KERNEL MODE HEAP CORRUPTION,

BAD POOL CALLER,

and other I can't remember now.

My laptop specs:

Processor AMD A10-8700P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 1.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)

Hey There! I have the same laptop and unfortunately the same issue. The best option is to enter the Bios by restarting your PC and pressing ESC then in the options menu choose BIOS setup and then boot options. Select the legacy boot or legacy option and set it to enable. This will make your graphic card driver work. I'm not really sure how this works.. but you should give it a try. Unfortunately HP and AMD can't solve this issue.. I've been trying to reach support for years but I didn't received any solid response. Good luck!

AMD Mobile APU A10-8700P is not supported with driver updates anymore. The last driver for your APU is from 06/2021.

This is the only AMD Driver you need to install for both your R6 Integrated Graphics and R7-M360 GPU card.

Yes it might be a good idea to set in BIOS -CSM Mode (Legacy) since you have an old laptop.

EDIT: Went to HP Support for your Laptop driver download page and it does have the last AMD Driver 06/2021 to download.
