How to use AMD Radeon HD 7950 in 3440x1440 with Windows 11 ?

Hi,

 

I have a Mac Pro 5.1 with dual Boot between Mac OS Big Sur and Windows 11 and a Radeon HD 7950.

I don't have isuue in Mac OS Big Sur, thegraphic card work correctly and I can choice 3440x1440 like resolution.

But with Windows 11 I don't have this resolution. The maximum is 1920x1080

The driver of AMD installed are 21.5.1

The HD7950 does not/is not supported for Windows11. It does not meet the standards set by Microsoft. There are no drivers from AMD for it.

Dear AMD:

Lots of computer hardware "does not meet the standards set by Microsoft"... yet runs Windows 11 more than adequately. If you aspire to be any better than your competition -- namely NVIDIA, which has earned the reputation of outright despising its hard-core customers who made the company successful in the first place -- than you would produce the required Windows 11 drivers for the AMD HD7950 card.

Windows 11 drivers will never happen.
