AMD Software Host Application has stopped responding - any fix?

amd crash.png

Every 10 minutes or so AMD Software: Host Application crashes in the background like this and has to be killed in the task manager to reopen the control panel. Anyone else experience this bug or have a fix? I'm on a corsair voyager a1600 with 24.3.1 - have been experiencing this bug since the fluid motion update in january.

I'm also experiencing this bug.

It started after the update to 24.3.1.

The small window is not responding an Windows asks to restart, wait or end the application.

There is also an event logged:

Application Hang Event-ID 1002

Path:  C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\RadeonSoftware.exe

Type: Unknown

I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64bit
Version 22H2
Build 19045.4291
With a Radeon X6700 XT

I also cannot open the Adrenalin Edition any more on the Tab Streaming cause it freezes instantly.

I did a full reinstall of Adrenalin Edition 24.3.1 with reset to factory default option set.

The problem has not occured since then.

I also can open the Streaming Tab again.

Still happening with 24.4.1

Also AMD Software Adrenalin Edition can not be started via Tray Icon.

Icon is present but no menu opens with right click.

I do have a voyager a1600 too, having the same problems. Haven't tried yet but I believed that is caused by one of the corsair apps, I've been having this bug since the first version that launched with motion frames. All of the 24. Versions have that bug.

I did notice something, if you install the driver only option (without adrenaline) it does stoop crashing. But you're left behind without the options of adrenaline of course.
