AGESA version numbers

I see that there is a new AGESA Bios release, with version: AMD Combo PI version 1.0.0.4 Patch B (SMU v46.54) for MSI motherboards. However, the current BIOS has AGESA version 1.0.0.6.

I'm surprised that the version number of the latest version is lower than the current version. Can someone explain this?

As a side note: I'm considering to do a BIOS upgrade of my MSI B350 PC MATE mobo that unfortunately never has been fully stable under Linux (see: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196683 )

I believe this is a good question to ask at MSI Support since they are the ones that create the BIOS/UEFI for the their motherboards.

AMD supplies the data needed in helping create the BIOS.

Edit: Should have read the link. Didn't realize this was a Linux Post.
