Adrenalin 22.7.1 Win 10 HDR Bug report

New Adrenalin 22.7.1 Driver for Win 10 have a Bug. It is not possible to activate HDR mode on Win 10. If you are in the HDR window the System hangs and lags. I found no Fix. Only Driver Downgrade helps. I have HDR in Win 10 always on. With the new driver it is automatically disabled.

My System Specs are in the pictures below.

Monitor is: LG 27GL850 27' UltraGear 144 hz

Same, Windows 11 22H2, 6800xt, Asus pa32ucg. After upgrading the driver, HDR now gone. Windows now says my monitor is not support HDR which is ridiculous

I have the same issue. 6900xt, both my monitor and TV report no HDR, which is not true at all.

If you go into the driver settings, under Graphics, scroll down near the bottom and turn off "10-Bit pixel format" then reboot, it fixes the issue.

Turning of 10 bit fixed my issue on rx580 8gb card, thanks

This 10bit control under the "Graphics" tab fixes it, not the one you posted from the "Display" tab. Wrong page.

Drivers 22.7.1 and 22.8.1 both effectively remove HDR capability from my system - which has been using HDR successfully on Windows 11 with 22.5.1 and previous versions.

  • HDR is no longer compatible with 10-Bit Pixel Format. For the best user experience with HDR displays, it is recommended to disable 10-Bit Pixel Format in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Graphics Settings.

(from the release notes of 22.7.1)

check you 10 Bit Pixel Setting as shown in the post from robertbrucks. (not 10 bit colors)
