TUF Tootie

Why TUF Tootie? Why not?

This is my battle station I built in 2013. It features an Obutto R3volution workstation / cockpit that allowed a "proper" immersive surround monitor setup.

I'm sporting:

CPU: i7-3930K
RAM: 24GB (assorted HyperX and Corsair)
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth X79
Case: Corsair 800D
Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB Cherry
Controller: Razer Hydra
Headset: Razer Kraken RGB
Monitors: 3x Samsung S27A850 - 27" 1440p PLS LED (2 vertical, 1 horizontal)
GPU 1: EVGA Geforce GTX 770
- Used to be 2 in SLI
GPU 2: Galaxy Geforce GTX 580 MDT
- First NVIDIA non SLI GPU solution for 3 + displays because I HAD to be different
- SLI is useless now so different GPU's for KVM GPU Passthrough fun

It's stood the test of time and is still my daily driver. I've migrated to 4 different operating systems in that time. I'm now daily driving Ubuntu 22.04.3. What started as my gaming rig in my man cave is now my Multi-purpose work / leisure battle station next to my wife's office. Aside from the lack of GPU driver support, it's amazing how versatile my battle station continues to be. At some point I'll upgrade the GPU to AMD / Radeon because Linux and AMD go together like PB & J...With that change I'll continue going and going and going...At least I hope for another 10 years.

Is it just me or does this give AMD Avatar GPU vibes?
