My personal and work computer dubbed the ADHD build.

Hey everyone long time builder and a bit of a lurker for peoples assorted builds. This is mine, with a 7900xtx nitro and a 5800x3d. Its a super small room so space was tight which is why those kef Q350 speakers are on top with the PC. The listening angles aren't ideal but they just sound a little raised to me definitely not an audiophile. There's a sub under the desk and I attached a picture of a pair of bass shakers under my chair. If you got them turned up they are really fun for some feedback (explosions, guns etc) Big Papa Roach fan. All powered by a home theater receiver in that right cabinet. Originally I had just the 3 thinkvision 24"  monitors but when I upgraded to this 27 " LG 240hz oled one I tried shifting them around for 4. Its way less clean look and arguably more distracting but you do get used to it, even if stuff just gets left open on one while you play a game. Cable management was okay until I got lights and that other PC. I would be better if I didn't have so many weird electronics. PXL_20240316_160142955_exported_1541_1710606845673.jpg

I took this extra picture in honor of my first graphics card the 280x. Saw someone on reddit do something similar with a card and a shadowbox. This poor thing artifacted like crazy and my old man took it apart to drill holes in the back of the fan because they got so stiff so every year when I cleaned it I would take it apart again take the tape off the hole and add a little more oil until it spun proper again.

The second computer is one I built out of mostly spare parts and an aliexpress test bench. I use it for auto cad as a side gig. Its a pretty simple under 200 dollar pc one ram slot doesnt work hence the single stick and a ryzen 2600 and 590gme. I think that vertical riser cost more then the motherboard and cpu combined

Your "ADHD build" combines high-performance computing with immersive audiovisual experiences to create a dynamic setup tailored to your gaming and multimedia interests. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU and a Nitro 7900XTX GPU, your PC boasts substantial power for demanding tasks. Audio immersion is provided by KEF Q350 speakers and a subwoofer, augmented by bass shakers for tactile feedback during gaming sessions. A 27" LG OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate anchors your display setup, though experimentation with multiple monitors adds versatility despite potential distractions. Cable management complexities arise with the addition of ambient lighting and other electronic devices, underscoring the diverse array of components contributing to your personalized computing environment.

Is the GPU frame on your wall an old 290X/390X? The fan block looks exactly like an old 390X I used to have.

280x, I think they all looked similar during that era
