You've had that machine for quite a long time.  Planning on building a new computer in 2024?

I was planning on it. I want to play some of the new titles with a little smoother experience. Pretty sure it will be either a Ryzen 7700X or a i7-14700K. With a video card to match.

I just built my WOT gaming machine last month and I'm using the 7700X CPU with an RX 7900 XT GPU.  It works very well.

I love the mouse mat. That GTX 980 TI with a 7700k seems like a great balance. Sweet build for most modern titles.

Thanks. It is a good match. The graphics card max's out while CPU at around 80%. So no stuttering with like Far Cry 5 or The Callisto Protocol at 1080p. Try to get up to the 1440p range now.

I picked up 3 980TI's in 2020 during the Great GPU Apocolypse, Great Cards! Helped us survive until sanity resumed.

And that mouse pad is fire . Looks familiar...
