    R600 ISA manual page 3 figure 1-2 (Programmer's View of R600 Dataflow)



      In R600-Family Instruction Set Architecture manual which is included in CAL SDK documents, there is a figure 1-2, Programmer's view of R600 Dataflow. I am seriously wondering if third figure is correct that GPGPU kernel is mapped to VS (vertex shader), not PS(pixel shader). If it is correct I am curious why VS is used instead of PS for GPGPU kernel.
