    AMCL for different processors

      Hello,

I have browsed the documentation but I still do not understand one thing. Let us imagine that one wants to distribute an application based on AMCL and it is expected that the software will run on computers with different processors. Does AMCL will recognize the processor type automatically and adjust itself accordingly? Or how it should be done?

      Best wishes,

      Evgenii

ACML queries the CPUID information to determine which instruction sets are supported. This information is used to select which optimized kernel is best.

We do not check the CPU Vendor string to make any code path decisions, only the feature bits and model information are used to decide.
