    ACML 3.6.0 PGI undefined reference to...

      /pgi/linux86-64/5.2/bin/pgCC -lpgf90 -lpgf90_rpm1 -lpgf902 -lpgf90rtl -lpgftnrtl -tp=k8-32 -Mcache_align -L/DEV/lib/acml3.6.0 -lacml dfwm-sim.o ....

      when compiling program with PGI 5.2 have the following link errors:

      libacml.so: undefined reference to `fio_ldw'

      libacml.so: undefined reference to `__mth_i_csqrt'
      libacml.so: undefined reference to `fio_sc_d_fmt_write'

      libacml.so: undefined reference to `__mth_i_cdiv'
      libacml.so: undefined reference to `fio_fmt_write'

      Does it mean that the PGI libraries are too old?
      Is it possible to solve it without using the newer compiler?
