LG 34gl750-b with R9 380 144Hz issue

Hi,

I am not able to setup my LG 34gl750-b to 144 Hz with my AMD Radeon R9 380 4GB video card. I am using a HDMI 2.0 cable. I tried a custom setup in the Radeon software (19.9.2) but it says that my monitor cannot be set up that way. I only see a 120 Hz option in Windows screen setting but with 1920x1080 resolution. With 2560*1080 the maximum is 60 Hz. 

What should I do to get 2560*1080 144Hz?

I've just tried and it works with Displayport but I am not able to use Displayport currently due to my VESA mount being in the way. So I should find a solution with HDMI.
