5700XT - Not getting image output on screen wakeup

I purchased a Sapphire Pulse 5700XT a week ago and I have been having problems from day one.

At first I realized the issue when tried to wake the screen up after it sat idle for 15-20 mins (I set the screen turn off time to 5 mins on Windows). I got a blank screen on wake up and nothing I did brought the image back. I turned the monitor off/on, then I saw a TV static like image (https://www.reddit.com/r/AMDHelp/comments/63k6uo/colorful_static_screen/) show and disappear a few times, after which the desktop showed. But then the monitor showed this error(https://imgur.com/a/8SE3iqu), and the image looked a bit funky. I cannot really pinpoint what's wrong with it but I can easily notice that there is something wrong with it on first glance.

I had the latest driver at that time so I downgraded to 20.4.2. It seemed to be working for few hours, I did some screen wakeup tests and they did work fine until an hour ago

I was using an Nvidia 1050ti on my PC until this recent upgrade, also I have used multiple other laptops with this monitor so I am sure there is nothing wrong with it.

Please help me solve this issue. I really love how this card performs in games and I got it for a decent price, I don't want to return it. Any ideas about what might be wrong?

Try turning off the Link state power management under PCI Express in advanced power settings.

If that doesn't work you could try restarting the graphic driver and see if it brings the screen back (Ctrl-Shift-WIN-B)
