Hello, I was wondering if there are any coolers on the market that support the Ryzen V1000 series. Thanks.
I found only one company that sells AMD Embedded V series Processor CPU Cooler: https://www.globalspec.com/FeaturedProducts/Detail/RegoElectronics/REGO_CPU_Cooler_for_AMD_Ryzen_Embedded_V1000_FP5/3029…
Yes this is the only one I've seen but I've already contacted them and they only do bulk orders for comapnies. I need one that will be willing to sell to consumers.
To tell you the truth you are the first person asking for a CPU Cooler on a integrated CPU Chip.
Can't you try and cool the inside of your computer case better?
I would ask Rego company which companies they sell those CPU Coolers to and see if any of those other companies will sell you one. But most likely it will be to OEM Companies.
You can always open a AMD Service Request (Official AMD Support) and ask them if they know of any Retailers that sells that particular CPU Cooler from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
Thank you for the reply I will definitely look into that. My situation here is that I’m getting a custom keyboard made by a guy named Zyvhur. He specializes in making custom Raspberry Pi keyboard computers but he was doing custom commissions until today (Aug 7. 2020). The custom design I got has a UDOO Bolt V8 in it which has a Ryzen 1605b embedded chip in it. I’ve been looking for fans or heatsinks to replace the stock one that’s one the board but I’ve had no luck in finding any. The only thing I could really do is change the fan on the CPU cooler which I wouldn’t mind but I would like to have a little more customization to it.
REGO finally got back to me and I was able to purchase a cpu cooler. Thank you!
