My specification:

  • Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5500 XT (8 GB)
  • Windows 10 Home (2004)
  • Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2 Recommended (WHQL)
  • LG 22MK600M-B (1920x1080, 59 Hz, HDMI)
  • ASRock B450 Pro4 (BIOS P4.20)
  • AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
  • be quiet! Pure Power 11 600W
  • Crucial Ballistix 2x8GB (BL2K8G32C16U4B)
  • Samsung 860 Evo 250GB (MZ-76E250)

To simply put: during gaming (roughly 5-20 minutes after launching Performance Monitor) my Performance Monitor (Performance Overlay) randomly shut down.

1. And if I'm trying to open AMD Overlay (Alt+R) my keyboard and mouse stop working.

2. To solve this problem I use Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Start Button (button with Windows logo) to teleport to desktop.

3. After that - Performance Monitor will appear on the desktop. And if I open the game Performance monitor will also appear in the game until next random shut down.

Notice: only Performance Monitor is shutting down, not all driver.

Tested in: Need For Speed (2015); War Thunder; Grim Dawn; Fallout 4; The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt, Terraria.
