How to query NVMe device behind AMD-RAID controller via CSMI (IOCTL)?

Question asked by allenylchen on Jul 13, 2020

Hi AMD friends,

I'm try to improve some feature for S.M.A.R.T information with AMD-RAID platform in windows 10,

Which I found is that CSMI seem to be failed with error 1117(0x45d) via CC_CSMI_SAS_GET_DRIVER_INFO.

Same command is working well on the platform which build with SATA device (AMD-RAID).

Can you point out that any way to query the NVMe device behind AMD-RAID?

And is there any documentation with Identify and S.M.A.R.T query under AMD-RAID controller?

(WinNvme, ATA command, ...etc)

Windows 10 20H1 build 19041.329

RAID ROM : 9.2.0.127
RAID Driver : 9.3.0.158

CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3600X

MB : X570#

SSD : WD SN750 * 2 (NVMe)

           Lexar NM100 * 2 (SATA)

Thank you.
