Heya,

I'm trying to figure out what the highest resolution monitor is that my 2012 Mac pro with an ATI Radeon graphics card will support at 60 hertz.

I've found these specs, which have been very insightful:

Multi-monitor: Up to 3 displays

Maximum digital resolution: 2560 x 1600

Max DP resolution: 2560 x 1600

Max DVI resolution: 2560 x 1600

Max HDMI resolution: 2560 x 1600

Max HDMI resolution: 2560 x 1600

Max VGA resolution: 2048 x 1536

..but unfortunately this doesn't specify which refresh rate these values refer to.

Ask Apple support to be sure, it is their hardware. Their spec page does not list it. My best guess would be that it would support 60 hz at 2560x1600. 

A good indicator is that the the Apple Displays of that same era had a maximum refresh rate of 60.
