Can't change power plan

Hello, a few weeks ago i made a new PC from scratch and it works great. But 1 annoying thing is that my power plan keeps resetting itself. No matter what i did it would always go back to the stock settings of the AMD Balanced plan. The only thing i want to change is the amount of time the screen is on. It would always default to 1H but i want it to be set to 5min since its kinda bright especially at night and i don't want to always have to lock or put the PC to sleep.

Any suggestions ?

Tnx.

PC  components:

CPU - Amd ryzen 5 2600x

RAM - Crucial ballistix 8Gbx2

MB - Asus prime b450m-a

GPU - Gigabyte 1660 GTX

PSU - Cougar VTE 600W

You forgot to post the most important computer information, Windows version you have installed and are you using Ryzen Master by any chance.

And have you tried adjusting it in Windows 10's Power & Sleep settings from the Settings menu?

I would temporarily uninstall ryzen master.

Restart and Open a Command Prompt with Administrator Privileges.

Then enter the following:

powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

See if you can them get the settings you want. You can then add back in Ryzen Master if you want but you do not need to if. If you are on Windows 1909 or later everything needed for Zen, Zen+ and Zen 2 are already in the drivers.
