This is very similar to the 'Enduro" switchable graphics...which AMD stopped supporting.

The downside is that the only representative with this technology this year is hot, loud, expensive, and trumped in every way by a laptop only $200 more expensive, not that much of a difference when you're talking $1200 vs $1400, with an nVidia GPU and AMD APU, the vaunted ASUS Zephyrus G14.

I buy laptops for mobile use, i will stick to a desktop for gaming.

Here's another nail in the Dell G5 15's coffin: TomsHardware did a review of it and showed that for $70 more the ASUS Zephyrus G14, which is $1400 vs their $1320, and gives 4 HOURS longer battery life, and is superior in every other metric. It's amazing AMD allows the G5 15 to exist.
