Why do I not have a discrete video card active and when diagnosing it in the official program it will show up

Okay you have a Lenovo G40-45 Laptop with a AMD R5-M330 GPU card.

I guess you are asking why your R5 is not active and only your Integrated Graphics is?

What APU do you have installed on your Lenovo Laptop?

kingfish‌ is very knowledgeable about Switchable Graphics in laptops if this is what you are asking.

The discrete graphics is not always active...no high demand program running.

I know but I turned on high performance mode but still the video card memory is 512mb
