system wont boot after i added new motherboard and cpu

hey,

I installed a new CPU, motherboard, and ram in my system and now it doesn't boot(no display out, no beep). The fans start spinning for about 3 seconds then stops then nothing.

spec

CPU-3200g

motherboard-MSI a320m -a pro max

ram-2x4gb(ddr4 2666)

any help will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

The problem was solved it turns out my PSU was faulty.

See if your computer boots up with just one stick of RAM installed.

Please mark you last reply about the defective PSU as "Correct" so other Users will know what solved your issue.

Good troubleshooting by the way from another User.

Have you connected the 24 pin and the 8 pin power to the motherboard?

hello,

I don't find "motherboard-MSI a320m -a pro max" on MSI website, can you check the good name of your motherboard ?

I had the same problem. That Motherboard wouldn't come up under MSI when I googled it. But when I went directly to MSI Support and input first A320m which came up with several model none with Max. Then I inputted A320m-A Pro and a motherboard came up then finally I inputted A320m-A PRO MAX and finally I got the Support page for that Motherboard. It is possible it is a motherboard made for Overseas Market and not USA Market: Support For A320M-A PRO MAX | Motherboard - The world leader in motherboard design | MSI Global
