Bonjour

je souhaite monter un microprocesseur AMD Ryzen 5-3400G sur une carte mère MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon. En complément il y aura une carte graphique GTX 1080 avec 16 Go.
4 questions :
Est ce que cette configuration fonctionne ?
Y'a t'il une génération de processeur ou carte mère ou carte graphique à privilégier ?
Y a t'il des mises à jour de BIOS à réaliser
Quelles améliorations puis je lui apporter selon vous tout en restant dans les mêmes tarifs ?

That configuration will work fine and you shouldn't need any bios updates.

It doesn't seem worth getting a R5-3400G when your not going to be using the graphics.

For just a little more you can get a R5-3600 which has the improved zen2 architecture.

Alternatively the R3-3300X is due to be released in 1 weeks time and looks to be a really nice chip for the price.

The X470 motherboard is good but if you can wait a month the B550 boards should be released which will give you a future upgrade path to the upcoming 4000 series processors as well a PCIE gen 4.

pour pouvoir installer un CPU 3400G sur la carte mère MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon il faut impérativement flasher le bios avec l'ancien CPU et avec un bios à jour avec au minimum la version 7B78v29, idéalement la dernière version qui est la 7B78v2D.

Le reste de la configuration étant en adéquation avec la puissance du CPU je ne vois pas trop l’intérêt de les modifier.

Après si tu as un peu de budget et de temps, les cartes mères B550 sortent d'ici peu, avec un Ryzen 4000G/U/H tu devrais pouvoir t'y retrouver au niveau budget pour des performances bien au dessus.
