Normally installing AMD generic Graphic driver in a laptop will in most cases not show that actual AMD GPU model installed but rather the family of the GPU. The driver will still work but just may not show the actual GPU model install in the laptop.

If you use DELL's AMD Graphic driver which is customized and 100% compatible with your laptop it should show the correct GPU model of your laptop.
