Yes you've read it correctly. I have tried everything on a Linux Box with fresh installations and different approaches employed. The latest outlined below. I have this P*S on offerup and I can't seem to give it away either. If you would like to have this card for $100 please send me an email chadrlz at protonmail.com
If you have Ubuntu 19.10 or newer: Enable 32 bit architecture (if you haven't already):
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
Install support for 32-bit games:
sudo apt install libgl1-mesa-dri:i386
Install support for Vulkan API (will be functional only if you have a Vulkan capable GPU):
sudo apt install mesa-vulkan-drivers mesa-vulkan-drivers:i386
Reboot to apply changes.
Very disappointing that in 2020 it takes days to get a straight answer to something that wasn't even an issue 20yrs ago. As an avid linux supporter I can tell you, it's stuff like this that kills it every time. At this point I'm trying sht out of desperation but if anyone seriously wants a deal you can buy my headache for the low cost of $100.
