HDMI Device not detected

Question asked by randomhero623 on Apr 16, 2020

Odd issue this morning. Turned the monitor on and nothing came up. Montior displayed "HDMI device not detected" then shut down. I tried unplugging each end and it detected that it was plugged in since it turned back on, but displayed the same error. I had to hard reset the computer to get things back up again. I took a look in event viewer and there were only a couple. This happened around the time I noticed the screen wouldn't come up.
