version 20.3.1 ruined my gaming exprience

  • CPU- ryzen 7 3800X
  • GPU- PowerColor Red Devil RX 5700
  • Motherboard- MSI MEG X570 ACE
  • RAM- 16GB (2X8) @4000MHZ (XMP)
  • PSU- corsair RM850X

ever since I upgraded to version 20.3.1 i've been having non stop issues (where's I never had any issues before)

my GPU is RX 5700 Red Devil, up until I installed version 20.3.1 I never encountered black screen issues, system hangs, random reboots, etc.

but since I upgraded no matter which version I roll back to, the problems wont go away (and yes, I did use DDU and even the AMD cleanup utility)

I have a similar setup and I am using 20.3.1 on a clean install of windows and Halo is working. Have not tried other games yet but I will get around to that eventually.

2020 driver a lot issues. try 2019 driver, the latest 2019 version is 19.12.1
