PRORENDER DOESN'T RECOGNIZE GRAPHIC CARD

Just all of a sudden, a few weeks ago, when I started 3ds max I could see in render settings > hardware options to check my r9380x card... but after few drivers update I can not...IT's just a option to check or uncheck cpu...

I have trie with ddu to uninstall driver and uninstall render plugin, but when I strted 3ds max it shows only option to check/uncheck cpu > btw If I uncheck cpu option it renders fine, but on what??? On cpu or graphics????

Did you changed option to > if I ucnheck cpu it reders with graphic card or I'm I missing somethig...

Reinstall of drivers did not change a god damn thing, as well as reinstaling plugin... so???

any help?

Hi,

Thank you for reporting this issue. Does the card show up on other renders after you did a driver update? For example Arnold?

I will also send this issue to developers.

As far as I know arnold on 3ds max can not be used with amd cards, only cuda (nvidia)... only cpu usage...

All versions backwards haven't had this issue, at least not what I have experienced... I havent had need to reset/reinstall nor the drivers or 3ds max or to reset it... even with clean install havent had any problems... all versions that I installed on 3ds max regarding prorender did not have this problem...so I don't know...bug maybe?

I'm on 3ds max 2020.3 > latest drivers (recommended at least), 380x, i7 5820k, win 10 pro (version 1903 ) if this helps in any way..

thnks
