My computer just doesn't turn on anymore after windows updated the AMD driver.
After boot, the monitor goes blank and nothing happens. I can still hit the power shortcut button on the keyboard and it gracefully shutdown, meaning the computer still functions properly.
Going through the security mode and uninstalling the AMD driver, the computer boots fine.
I've tried to use the drivers version 19.12.1, 19.12.2 and 19.12.3. All of them gives the same blank screen.
My setup:
- Asus Z170-P
- Intel Core i5-6600
- XFX R7 260x
- HyperX Fury DDR4 2133 C14 1x8GB
- Corsair Force NVMe PCIe M.2
- Windows 10 1909 18363.535
Update:
Just tried to install the 19.11.3 and it gave the same problem.
