Computer crashes when quiting steam vr after upgrading to 5700 xt. Please help

Hi, I just upgraded from a gtx 1660 ti to an rx 5700xt because my brother needed a new gpu so I gave him the 1660 ti. However, with my new GPU steam VR crashes my computer every time I try to quit the program. After this, the computer just restarts back to the lock screen. If anyone has any Ideas what issue is or how I can fix it please let me know.

btw steam VR worked completely with the 1660 ti

When I quit steam vr each of my monitors go black on the right-hand side of the screen for a couple of seconds before it fully crashes.

Same thing here, except I started with a 5700 in this new build. My computer also locks up completely, sometimes with a reboot, others I have to hit reset.
