how to install R7-m260 drivers in ubuntu 18.04LTS?

Question asked by u_nes on Dec 13, 2019

Hello all, I would like to install R7-m260 Drivers in my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

The problem is that you do not provide support since Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, nevertheless i did install the 14.04 drivers but i don't think they function properly!! none of the apps that require 3d acceleration is working properly (DaVinci Resolve,...)

I tried some commands from the " AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver Installer Notes for Linux" see the pictures below.

$sudo dpkg -l fglrx fglrx-core fglrx-amdcccle fglrx-dev =>shows that all drivers are present on my system.

command output

$sudo clinfo =>to see if the graphics driver is working

$sudo lsmod | grep fglrx  => this command isn't showing “fglrx” driver version!!

$fglrxinfo

$fgl_glxgears

also the AMD Initial Configuration isn't working !!

PLUS! the R7-m260 isn't among the AMD products compatible with AMDGPU-PRO, so i can't install it!!?..

What should i do? any suggestions!?
Regards,
