Poor performance Nitro 5 AMD Ryzen 5 2500U AMD RX Vega 8

Recently I bought a new 2019 Nitro AN515-42 with AMD Ryzen 5 2500U AMD RX Vega 8 inside. Laptop came without any OS so I had to pay extra for the installation of Windows 10 (explains why it didn't come with Acer's settings). The laptop lags a lot in simple games and even constantly crashes in The Sims 4 and doesnt want to launch any "heavy" games. I followed couple of tutorials, asked the same question in Acer Community;s forum, updated the drivers, installed Acer's software and yet the laptop still lags. That's pretty weird since the review I saw this laptop in had stable 30-40 fps in Far Cry 5, while my laptop crashes when I try to open it.

Big Boss

did you bought it used?
if yes: disassemble it - replace thermal paste on APU and GPU

if not:
1. check if you have 1 or 2 RAM dimms built in - i recommend minimum of 2x8GB DDR4-2400CL16 from GSkill (CL14 also available from Kingston)
2. make a fresh install of Win10: disable auto-driver-install; disable telemetry; disable windows defender
2b. best would be if you have an SSD (either m.2-SATA or 2.5" SATA) to install the OS
3. install AMD Chipset Driver with Ryzen Balanced Powerplan
4. install AMD Ryzen 5 2500U graphics driver instead of RX560X graphics driver!
6. install Nitro-Sense (from Acer website - support - AN515-42 - Application)

if error persists please tell me
btw sry for late answer - i just looked AN515-42 up today; hope i can help
