I have awful stutter in Watch Dogs 2 and Far Cry 5. I finally noticed that the stutter begins when VRAM usage reaches 7,9GB. If I play at 720p instead of 1080p games run smoother. I reinstalled Windows 10 and drivers but still reaching very high VRAM usage. 

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Had similar issue on Vega 56 in Farcry New Dawn, to avoid that had to either use HBCC option that is not available on current Navi cards or to disable the U(?)HD texture option in the game settings.
I think the exact same option was presented in Farcry 5.

It seems that more and more games want in excess of 8GB VRAM 

Wonder if anyone with a 16GB Radeon VII has that game and can hop in with his results.
