I heard the rumours that AMD radeon VII is getting discontinued. Are they true??

Yes Sadly, they will no longer be selling it except back stock.

well if it would work outta the box with there updated drivers it probably would of did better

It's not Supposed to work right out of the BOX.  Vega was known for this since it's release.  You need to Tinker with it to get it in it's Sweet Spot

ive been using amd software perhaps a different one will work better, but stating its not supposed to work outta the box is silly thats like buying a new car and saying hey it might start u may need to tinker a bit for it to run, but i did research i didnt think it would be this annoyin is all. actually if i use the old windows drivers i have no issues at all i have a whole another thread on it

Vega has always been finicky though.  I knew that going in.  Not gonna say there haven’t been times I wanted to pull it out and smash it.  But now everything is ironed out and it works beautifully
