Yes you have a APU.....the question is which one.

Run SPECCY ....it's free and will tell you what processor/APU you have. Then pick the correct one:

AMD Drivers and Support for Radeon, Radeon Pro, FirePro, APU, CPU, Ryzen, desktops, laptops

Probably because you have a computer with a APU.

Ok, as I am totally computer illiterate, I have no idea what an APU is and

what to do if I do.

I opened my AMD command center and saw this information that I posted.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! My operating system is

Windows 8.1 64 bit HP desktop.

Driver packaging version is 13.152.1.1-130910a-162702c-HP - not sure if

this is what is necessary.

Thanks!

Thank you for helping. I ran the SPECCY and it told me pretty much the

same thing that the graphics tab did on my computer.

This is what SPECCY said - 768 MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7660D ( HP).

I looked for this on the AMD Drivers website and can not locate this one.

Maybe this one does not have an updated driver due to age?

Thanks again.

You do not update the discrete graphics card...you update the APU.

What does it say for CPU??

AMD A10-5700 91 °C

Trinity 32nm Technology

I downloaded a driver from HP for my graphics card and it didn't help.

AMD A10-5700 is your APU:

I already showed you where to get the drivers, but I will do so again now that you know what APU you have:

Go to this page: AMD Drivers and Support for Radeon, Radeon Pro, FirePro, APU, CPU, Ryzen, desktops, laptops

Fill out the choices as I did for you:

Submit...and it takes you here:

A10-5700 with Radeon™ HD 7660D Drivers & Support | AMD

You have a choice of two drivers...select the 16.2.1

There will be no more updates for those Legacy graphics.

The next thing that will probably arise:

** Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 must be fully updated before attempting to install any AMD driver. All 'critical', 'recommended', and 'optional' (no language packs, etc) updates as well as any Service Packs (SP) must be installed before any attempt to install graphics drivers. If you do not get this message .... keep installing until you do:

Keep in mind that there are no more updates for that graphics. There is a bug that notifies of a new update. Ignore it.

Ok, thanks for the headsup!

I have the same display adapter and APU as the one listed in this thread. I tried following the suggestion and steps above. It downloaded, but when it was complete, it advised me that my operating system is not supported. Please advise any suggestions. (Please note that Windows Update is all up to date).

Thank you.
