High Temps on 3800X

Hey guys, I'm having quite a bad time right now.

I just received my 3800X and after assembling I opened up Ryzen Master and found out that my idle temps are at 60-80 degrees; when under load the temperature jumps up to 100 degrees, all while under 100% fan speed.

I don't think that the processor is broken or something but I really want to know where I goofed up.

Those are my Specs:

  • MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon
  • Ryzen 3800X (obviously)
  • AMD Stock Cooler
  • GTX 1080 Ti
  • Corsair PSU 650W
  • 2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 MHz

Sadly, when left to auto a lot of the motherboards out there will allow the vcore to climb to 1.45V or higher. My suggestion to you is to go in and manually set vcore to no more than 1.35v. This should keep the temperatures much more in check.
